12. People get excited easily. Are you able to commit to this trip with a deposit of $500US? Some people just go MIA when time comes to pay the deposit. Don't be one of them. 🙂 The deposit is required for some activities in Japan that need to be prepaid. The deposit goes towards the final payment, but you will lose it if you cancel the trip, regardless of the reason. The balance is due two months before the trip.
